After reviewing these earlier this year, it’s safe to say that when it comes to dinnerware that will make life easier, this British design by Salmon Luke is where it’s at. Full of clever features that help toddlers feed themselves with ease and without frustration for both of you, it’s still a pleasure to watch the bambino polish off a bowl of porridge or Weetabix with ease.
The shape of the bowl which includes a wave shaped rim and three cutlery sized corners that are used to tip food back onto the cutlery just before it’s about to fall is key to this innovative design. The cutlery is also high backed ensuring that food doesn’t just fall off on the way to the mouth and features shaped tails for a comfortable grip. They’re BPA (Bisphenol A) free and are made from a unique to Salmon Luke, self-sterilising plastic material (Hygienik TM) that doesn’t allow illness causing bacteria to grow. Suitable from 1-5 years, I can personally say that these have transformed mealtimes!
