Sunuva is a boutique UV swimwear and beachwear brand specialising in combining style and sun protection.
Frustrated by the lack of high quality UV wear for children friends Emily and Sabrina, who first met when their children recognised each other at the pool, decided to take the plunge and design their own collection. Taking their inspiration from bohemian travel and the very best in UV swimwear technology the first collection launched in 2010.
Their rash vests have a 50+ UPF rating which blocks 97.5% – 98% of the sun’s rays meeting the stringent Australian and New Zealand sun protection guidelines. Your children will be protected from harmful rays no matter how long they play in the pool.
This season’s collection features elephants, stripes and Mexican skulls. Sunuva’s range extends to all aspects of beachwear including dresses, kaftans and shirts all tied together with colours and prints. There are sibling ranges and reversible swimwear as well as a whole host of accessories. My favourite is the green elephant rash vest pictured above which is simply the best sun protection top I have ever seen.
