The magnificent Anorak Magazine have been busy working on a brand new project: PLOC: The Happy Mag For Little Ones. We are very proud to be giving you a first and exclusive look at the cover of the launch issue.
With high demand for a little sister to Anorak which is tailored made for pre-schoolers, Cathy and designer, Lewis Smith decided to think blue sky and contacted one of their all time favourite illustrators. Alain Grée is a French artist who illustrated children’s books through the 60s and 70s.
PLOC will be packed with games and activities and stories by Alain Grée all beautifully illustrated. There will be an inquisitive vibe to the magazine and will include stories such as, The Story of Bread, Learn About Seasons and A Day at the Farm. Alain will not only be adding his gorgeous back catalogue of work but will be creating brand new illustrations especially for PLOC.
If you have a curious child or you loved the old Ladybird books which told you about the world; grab a copy of PLOC – you will find a whole world of joy in its pages.
The first issue is going to print in July and subscriptions will be open in the next few weeks. Visit the PLOC website to sign up for news and get your hands on the very first issue of a modern classic.
