I heart Rice. Simple as that, from the first time I clapped eyes on their brightly coloured homewares I was smitten. Despite being decidedly distinctive in style it doesn’t seem to turn your home into an identikit version of everyone else’s but brings quirk and colour into your life.
I’m currently sat under a Rice rug browsing my absolute favourite Rice product online: melamine. Anyone who has young kids knows how useful it is to have a stack of melamine tableware. It is hard wearing, long lasting and virtually indestructible (I say virtually as we have broken one or two plates!). It takes the hard knocks of family mealtimes in its stride. Not only that but it lends itself to funky designs. Rice are in their element here, covering their goods with bright prints and bold block colours which are as suited to the eclectic adult table as they are the kids’ table. You can buy beakers, plates, bowls, trays, cutlery, picnic ware, cups, jugs and even children’s chopsticks.
