I lo-ove US baby furniture and always get myself into a right tizz every time I get wind of another arrival on our shores.
Netto is the nursery furniture range designed by NYC interior designer David Netto, and John Lewis have made a serious coup in stocking some of his pieces (the Cabine Collection) exclusively in the UK.
I am a huge fan of cotbeds with storage and for a long time it seemed to only be Kuster, and then recently there was Aspace’s Barcelona, and now the oh so delectable Cabine Cotbed in natural, sustainable oak.
All four sides are open and I love the contrast of the white lacquered base and rail borders. It can be converted into a daybed with an additional kit, making this a delicious, solid, eco friendly, but rather expensive addition to your baby nursery.
It’s £750 for the cotbed, £175 for the conversion kit, and the matching Cabine Chest of Drawers and Changing Unit is £895. Credit crunch? What credit crunch!
It would look oh so at home in our nursery with the bambino’s Leander but me suspects words like ‘over’ and ‘dead body’ may get mentioned….
