I’m quite excited to see that Yellow Lolly (yet another one of my obsessions) has got their new Kik Kid collection in and that they’re doing the fabulous jumpsuits that took centre stage last autumn winter too.
I’m a huge fan of Kik Kid, which the bambino has a few items from that are perfect for giving her a very hip touch. There is a distinctly 80s vibe with a hint of 70s in there that reminds me of the early days of hip hop when Adidas and Puma tracksuits were the uniform of choice.
The brainchild of Ineke Grovenstein, she has designed clothing that focuses on fit, comfort, and distinctive, effortless style. I touched up the autumn winter collection a few months back at Bubble and wanted the whole lot there and then. Their colours are unusual, I like their little details like patches, contrasting shoulders, elbow pads, contrasting stitching, and of course the little Kik Kik star logo tag that appears at just the right place on the clothing.
The collection at Yellow Lolly features lots of petrol blue, plummy red with a vibrant candy pink, shades of grey, and a little green.
