I love Green Eyed Monster as they create modern baby and children’s wear which is fun and ethical. They use certified ecological dying, printing, and processing to ensure there are no harmful chemicals near your child’s skin, and this season they have added some fab new designs to their core collection.
This grey marl t-shirt Manga City is inspired by a Blade Runner city scape. The scene has been created by an anime artist (Japanese comic book style art). It is ideal for the urban toddler and brings some major cool to the wardrobe. From size 1 – 2 to 9 – 10 from £16.
The organic cotton jersey Akina Dress features more Japanese influences. It has a modern floral design on the skirt embellished with sparkle-tastic Swarovski crystalline. It brings together key themes for this season; the rich purple is a must have to warm you in the winter weather, the pin tucks are bang on trend and the bell sleeves finish the look. It would look great over some brightly coloured stripey tights. From 1- 2 through to 9 – 10 years from £32.50.
The Digital Love Jumper is getting some serious Kat love. I saw this at Bubble and immediately had it pegged as a Grandma present! It is made from a beautifully soft fairtrade Alpaca wool blend. The heart patch motif is hand embroidered with funky digital designs. It has mittens attached to the sleeves which are held back by a small button when not in use and a hood to keep little heads warm on windy days. From 1 – 2 through to 7 – 8 years from £36.
I adore the Raymond Briggs book and cartoon The Snowman and have to confess to watching it every Christmas. The smart girls at Green Eyed Monster have exclusively licensed the pattern for the scarf given to James by Father Christmas at the Snowmen’s Ball. It features a snowman design and Raymond Briggs’ signature and is crafted from fair trade Peruvian Alpaca wool and is just perfect in every way. You can get it in either blue or dusty pink alongside matching hats and mittens! The scarf alone is £22.50.
Green Eyed Monster continue to develop their unique brand of children’s fashion into a wide range. I for one am a fan of what they create and look forward to future collections.
