I love Isossy Children, a childrenswear label with African and Asian influences delivered with a modern twist. Until recently it was all about the girls, but designer Amanda has introduced some boys pieces to the range including these deliciously retro trousers (matching jacket also available) that have caused me to have the Shaft theme tune stuck in my head as I write this. If we ever make up our mind about having a pageboy for our wedding in a couple of months, I think he’ll have to wear the trousers with a chic shirt.
For girls, there’s gorgeous jumpsuits and bang on trend block colour combined with tribal print accents and as Amanda designs most of her clothing with a view to being ‘transeasonal’, most of the pieces will work well with a bit of layering.
