Ilovegorgeous have been creating the most, well, gorgeous clothing for girls since they launched in 2007. They are the first and last word in dreamy dresses all made from the finest fabrics. Until this season their clothing started at two years but Lucy and Sophie knew we didn’t want to wait two whole years to get our girls a little ILG so they created a range especially for babies.
With all the delicacy and femininity of the collections which have come before, ilovegorgeous baby is set to become a go to for beautiful everyday and occasion wear for baby girls. The clothes are designed and cut in such a way that an outfit fits for longer and lives up to the six month size ranges.
The coming Autumn Winter 2011 collection (pictured above and top) is a mix of soft prints and muted jewel tones. They have butter soft cashmere and cotton knits in jumpers, harem pants and on their signature butterfly baby grow. I am loving the star print dress which matches a dress in the girls AW collection.
My daughter Betsy (pictured below) has an Anna set and long heart cardigan from their SS11 collection which I just adore on her. The shape of the outfit allows her to move freely and the lightness of the cardigan makes it a perfect summer layer.
Their summer collection is currently on sale and I’m thinking I might have a browse for a first Birthday dress there…
