I love getting a bit swoony about stuff and when I saw these fabulous buntings on display at Top Drawer, a retail trade show for design led products this past weekend, I could barely contain myself.
If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you’ll recall that bunting bored me until I saw some made from vintage and recycled fabric and now Dutch company Engel have come up trumps with these sophisticated yet playful delights that are wonderfully childish and retro. Bursting with colour on 24 flags in a mix of prints and made to last, they’re suitable for a whole host of occasions and are much longer than many I have seen and come in at 11.5 metres long.
Made from 100% cotton, they’re available in three styles – cool boys (top), original Dutch (above), and fresh apple. £27 each at Phillipson-Zoet at Not On the High Street.
