I recently read about Comfy Bumps, a company that converts your well loved jeans into maternity jeans to fit you from 3-9 months and then you can convert them back afterwards.
Of course, they don’t just convert jeans – they do trousers, skirts, dresses, tops, and even jogging bottoms.
Now as someone who is really fussy about what jeans she wears, I can actually understand why someone would use this service because first time round, I could not find a pair I liked and it drove me up the wall. If I give into my designer tastes, buying a pair of say, 7 for All Mankind Maternity Jeans will set me back £195.
It costs for example, £44.99 to convert your jeans and when they return them to you, there’s a voucher for you to send them back after your birth to be converted back. Result!
It will cost you £8.95 for P&P although if you live in North London, you can collect them. You can get several items done for £199 and I have to say, if you’re the type that is a bit non plussed by maternity clothing that you find in stores and want to continue wearing your beloved clothing, Comfy Bumps is definitely the way to go.
