So in early May 2007, two weeks before ‘the bambino’ was due, I set up Bambino Goodies because after being petrified that our home would be choc full of neutral and baby pink, I had discovered that there were so many amazing goodies to shop for. And now, I’ve got to do some of that shopping and child bearing all over again!
Yes, at almost 4 months, it’s fairly safe to say that I am pregnant with our second child. Woohoo!
It’s true what they say about the second time round – it took going to the scan for it to actually become ‘real’ and even then, my days are so full I sometimes forget…till I look at myself trying to squeeze into jeans that won’t close over anymore…
It is a ‘surprise’ baby but when we’re not busy cacking ourselves at the prospect of having two kids, we’re very excited, although the bambino doesn’t seem that fussed…
I’m due some time in April – Tempting as it is to state my due date, I won’t because last year I got loads of phonecalls, texts, emails, and comments and by the time I’d gone 13 days overdue, I was fit to burst and so was my mood.
I shall of course be keeping you updated on even more of my finds, plus I’ll be trying out lots of products and keeping you up to date on my pregnancy style. At the moment, I’m trying out Huddle & Bliss Mama Bump Balm (it smells divine and my bump is super smooth) but having a bit of a nightmare with support belts (my back is already playing me up). I’m not sure if I’m going to keep a ‘pregnancy diary’ but I do a weekly motherhood column for Bitchbuzz so you can certainly keep up with my thoughts on juggling motherhood, being self-employed, and trying not to go crackerjack crazy with everything else that life throws at me.
Gosh I realise now that I have typed this that it’s all very official! Yay! x
