The spookiest time of year is nearly here and the 31st October promises to be even more terrifying than usual in 2019, for obvious reasons! We'll be dressing up to take our minds off the political situation, but like our plastic, we don't want our Halloween costumes single use – they need to do double duty as day or night wear or be able to be repurposed for World Book Day. Here's our pick of the best alternative Halloween outfits.
Mini Rodini skeleton dress,
£45, Alex & Alexa.
Bat Jyms,
£38, The Bright Company.
Dem Bones rainbow reflective
sweatshirt, £36, Zilla Kids.

£14, The Kindness Co-Op.
Meri Meri Halloween cape
and wand, £36, Molly Meg.
Glitter bat mask,
£8, Mimi & Lula.
