The first time I came across Natalie Luffman of Sophie4Sophie was when she won one of the competitions in the bonanza a few months ago. Just as I was about to close my email, I spied these amazing looking pants that looked like a cross between Flashdance and Fame. I emailed her demanding to know where she got them and was delighted to discover that she is the designer of these fabulous, handmade ‘pants’.
Natalie has 4 children, 3 of them boys, and having a little girl Sophie seems to have inspired her creativity. She wanted to create clothing that would last because everyone knows that it’s one blink and your baby’s grown out of it. One pair of this funk-da-funk baby ‘pants’ will fit from 6-18 months! That is some lengthy use!
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg because Natalie has come up with a brilliant idea.
These fab trousers have a combination of looks.
There’s no more digging waistbands into little tummies with the large foldover waistband which can be rolled up or down to give high waist/low waist.
The unique ‘circular bum’ has been created, not only to make your bambino’s bum look hot to trot but to accomodate cloth nappies. Instead of the clothing having stress forced on it by accomodating bigger nappies, the stitching and shape accomodates their wriggling bums much better.
The legs can be rolled up or down so that you can get the shorts look.
They’re brilliant and for £19.99, you can have a pair custom made for you although Bambino Goodies readers get 15% off if they say they heard about Sophie4Sophie through us. Result! To get more information and arrange your trousers, get in touch with her here plus you can also check out fabric images.
I think these trousers are pure genius and I want them to become huuuggge, although they are custom-made so I’m not sure if she wants to bust her fingers to the bone, plus they’re so cool, I almost wanted to keep them a secret! Team these with funky trainers, bootees, or shoes, plus they work well with cool t-shirts and hoodies. Obviously you want the bum on show so don’t put anything too long up top.
