Alfie loves being in the garden and helping out with our vegetable patch, so he is extremely enamoured of this watering can  – a gift from his Granny Boo last weekend. I love it too – the chunky metal is a refreshing change from the usual flimsy plastic cans and the zingy shade and cute hedgehog tick all the right style boxes. So I decided to check out the brand YeoMinis and discovered they have a great, and very reasonably priced range of gardening goodies for little ones that make fabulous gifts.
There are three characters – a frog and butterfly complete the trio – and in addition to the watering can, above, £8, there’s a garden kneeler pad, £3, gloves, £3, and a bucket, £4, plus a set of hand tools comprising a trowel, fork and rake for £4.
A gift set of can, tool and gloves is a bargainous £9 and you can even buy matching wellies, raincoats and plush puppets and masks featuring the characters. All in all a brilliant way to get kids into gardening. Find the entire range for sale at Capital Gardens.
