I’ve been a fan of MillaMia, the collection of modern knitting patterns for babies and kids by sister duo Katrina and Helena, ever since Kat featured them last year. Along with their range of merino wool, their collection features books and individual knitting patterns plus they’re going to be in John Lewis this autumn where they’ll also have scrumptious cushions.
I’ve been oohing and aahing over their new book, Wonderland (£14.95), which features 19 patterns in a strong mix of styles for both sexes and plenty to suit whether you’re a beginner, improving, or up for something more complicated. The Alexander jacket (above left) is beginner/improving and the Jonas trousers (above right) are beginners, the Jonas comfy hoody (below) is beginner/improving and the Lova babygro is for experienced knitters. There’s also several cable and colourwork designs including the Klara kimono cardigan on the front cover plus there’s even a coat pattern.
Choose from the big collection of wools where there’s lots of brights for the colour fiends and even if you don’t knit, you can always hand the book over to an eager friend or relative. Hotness.
