We don’t like to leave the Mamas out in our sale searches and while we could write reams about our favourite sale temptations (hello Anthro and Plumo…) here I’ll stick to hooking up the expectant Mamas.
Looking to spice up your maternity wardrobe or shop for the basics this is the best time to do it. Our advice: be discerning and stick to styles you’d normally buy while enjoying the money off. Bear in mind most good brands have a decent resale on sites like eBay so you may well recoup most of the ticket price once you are finished with your maternity clothes.
Isabella Oliver have up to 50% off (I predict this will be further reduced to up to 70% at a later date). Their maternity style is totally unique, form fitting and elegant. Just a couple of items from their range can make a maternity wardrobe extra special.
ASOS are one of my favourite maternity brands effortless turning out fashionable collections each season. Up to 70% off here and plenty of items under £10. Lots of dresses and funky coloured trousers and jeans.
Mama-la-Mode has up to 80% off and you can grab an extra 20% off with a code on their front page. Lots of premium brands here like J-Brand and Prarie New York alongside their own Mama-la-mode collection. Worth noting that Amoralia nursing and maternity bras are included.
Cecily Plum a small but perfectly formed sale collection with lots of nice skirts and more tailored items. You’ll also find a selection of changing bags. Discounts more modest here but worth a look as their pieces are so carefully chosen.
Topshop not huge amounts here (scroll to the bottom) but a couple of heavily discounted skirts as well as basics. I’m a little more distracted by their new season maternity though…
Polarn O.Pyret – I mentioned them in a previous sales round up but I’m highlighting again as lots of wardrobe basics at good prices. Maternity jeans, leggings and plain tops can all be used as a base layer to create a capsule maternity wardrobe mixing in your existing clothes.
Blossom Mother and Child you’ll find designer maternity here with up to 50% off. Brand names include: Anu V, Flyboy Maternity, M Missoni, Rachel Pally and See by Chloe alongside their own brand Blossom clothing. Some absolutely gorgeous pieces on offer and one to visit if only to drool!
Just Maternity Jeans have a maternity jeans sale (what else!) with a selection of jeans and denim skirts.
Mamas and Papas have both summer and winter wear in their sale. Lots of everyday wear as well as nice office clothing. I spy linen trousers so if your bump is set to bloom this spring/summer then snap up some while they last. Discount is up to 50%.
New Look have around 40 – 70% from my calculations. Hot buys here include Mama.licious dresses and leggings at £4.
Mothercare have up to 75% off their maternity range (although keep an eye as not all discounts so generous). Lots of bras and underwear. My personal experience of their pants isn’t great but as they only have to last a few months it isn’t the end of the world!
Jojo Maman Bebe has the sections divided up by price. Some bargains to be had here with up to 75% off. They are also one of the few places with maternity coats with this black duffle being my hot buy at 50% off.
