In today’s competition from Bambino Goodies Big Baby Shower & Birthday celebration, Thrupenny Bits have given us a gorgeous Ultimate breastfeeding pillow worth £50.
Pooh poohing boring fabrics and instead opting for lush textiles that would look just as great on pillows, Thrupenny Bits is the creation of Melissa, who wanted to create a stylish and portable breastfeeding cushion with a longterm use. Whilst breastfeeding, it’s filled with a removable inner sack filled with foam beads or hypoallergenic buckwheat hulls (costs extra) and the straps are fastened around your back to allow you to breastfeed anywhere, and can also be slung over your shoulder or your pram or pushchair handles making it fashionably portable.
When you’re all done with breastfeeding, whip out the inner cushion and you’ve got yourself a bag.
Available in a range of scrumptious fabrics, including some of the recent additions to the range pictured above, they also come in slightly smaller sizes and you can find a cushion to suit yourself from £28 to £50. Every pillow is handmade and there are limited number available in each design to keep things fresh.
