Since Lola has learnt to ride her bike without stabilisers and with the purchase of a WeeRide Safefront we have been out on our bikes a lot and it’s been great fun! The WeeRide is a child seat which sits in front of you rather than behind, although it’s actually centre mounted for better balance. It’s great. The WeeRide has a five point harness, side support, foot rests and a headrest. I love how my son can just learn forward on to the headrest rather than bob about behind me when tired. When I first saw this kind of child seat I was a little worried that Finn may get in my way so I stopped someone I saw using one and asked their opinion. They had nothing but praise and said it wasn’t an issue at all. They were right, Finn does rest his arms on my legs but there’s no interference. They’re suitable from aged 1 to 4. You can get a WeeRide direct (from £75.99) or from the likes of Halfords, JoJo Maman Bebe, Amazon and ASDA. Highly recommended.
