I’m a bit of a Bloomsbury obsessive, so I was predestined to love this adorable children’s book, based on the relationship between writer Virginia Woolf and her sister painter Vanessa Bell. The book tells of wolf Virginia’s black mood being lifted by her sister’s drawings of an imaginary place called Bloomsberry on their bedroom walls and features the fantastic illustrations of Isabelle Arsenault. One that will definitely appeal to grown-ups as much as children. Virginia Wolf by Kyo Maclear, illustrated by Isabelle Arsenault (Kids Can Press)
