We searched high and low for a nice toybox for The Boys, and there are so many to choose from!
My absolute favourites are these ones from Posh Box. They are made from solid wood, taken form a sustainable source, and painted with gorgeous Farrow and Ball or Fired Earth paint.
You can have the toy box personalised by having your child’s name carved into the front of the box (which looks loads better than it being painted on), and pictures silk screen printed onto the top, which just look amazing. You can even have an engraved brass plaque on the inside of the lid – a wonderful touch, if you ask me!
All the toy boxes are made to a fantastically high standard, and the little touches have been well thought through. They have slow-close hinges so that little fingers won’t get trapped, and are so lovely that they will last for years to come. Priced at £275, they aren’t cheap but they look as good in a lounge or dining room as they do in a child’s bedroom, and are a fab investment!
