I don’t wear a huge amount of silk as after my c-section with my post baby weight, I tried on some silk dresses for a wedding and they managed to make me look like a whale even though I’m a size 8! Silk clings to lumps and bumps, which is why, if I was pregnant, and bumpy rather than lumpy, I’d definitely get this fab silk shirt dress from Topshop.
It’s in a rather sexy taupe cover, with drawstring detail on the ruched sleeves to give it a bit of extra oomph. It looks like it will drift over you but smooth it’s way flatteringly over your bump. It’s 100% silk, machine washable, and available in sizes 8-16.
