Today on This Kid Loves, Saria (‘the bambino’ and original inspiration for BG), 6 and a half and big sister to Nia, shares her festive faves.
What’s your favourite toy? Big Dolly (Coco by Blabla Kids which she’s had since she was a year old).
What do you want for Christmas? Some special notebooks for doing my writing and illustrating. A Snow Baby woodland doll (by Lapin and Me at Molly-Meg), a hotel (a Playmobil or Sylvanian Families one).
What’s your best ever Christmas present? My Uncle John gave us lots of Playmobil last year.
What do you enjoy most about Christmas? Everything! Mummy likes collecting decorations (Crate & Barrel & The Conran Shop give great decoration) and then me and Nia take them off the tree and play with them. I like writing notes to Santa, doing things with my family – we had so much fun at the Christmas market (Southbank) – and we’re going to Africa (Sierra Leone) this year so it’s going to be the best Christmas ever. Mince pies are my favourite too.
