The Wee Department Store is the brainchild of mama Lucie Carr, whose aim is to create a shop selling goods for children under six, with ‘the ethos of a traditional British department store but with a modern twist’.
Why we love: It’s jam-packed full of brilliant goodies from some of our all-time fave brands. Superb curation means that the labels all work together perfectly.
Three cool buys: We’ve raved about Pimp My Stroller‘s toy buggies – TWDS boasts an exclusive navy and cream rainbow design with a choice of backing colour. These pushchairs are really brilliant and a great price at £32.50. Mar Mar Copenhagen’s Leo leopard print all-in-one, £26.50, is literally one of my favourite ever items of childrenswear. If you’re a matchy matchy kinda mama you can grab yourself some leggings, £42.50. If there’s a must-have piece for your little one this season, it’s Gray Label’s salopettes, £38.50 – a pair *may* be making their way into Kitty’s wardrobe…
Brands: Shop for toys from Anne-Claire Petit, Bajo, Iyum, Corby Tindersticks and Plan, then stock up on clothing from Immink, Indikidual, Kidscase, The Bright Company, Tootsa MacGinty, Anatology, Elfie London andÂSlugs & Snails, shoes from Young Soles, partyware from A Little Lovely Company and dressing up from Wovenplay and Opposite of Far.
