A few weeks back, Kat gave a glowing review of the ideal on a budget, Petite Star Zia 4 travel system, and they’re back with a new credit crunch busting offering, the City Bug, is pushchair and infant carrier car seat (group 0+) for £149.99!
The City Bug has gone for padded, antennae style handles and even though it’s a 4-wheeler, it’s a little reminiscent of a 3-wheeler as the front wheels are closer together than those at the back. The fully reclinable pushchair seat and frame clock in at 8.5kg so it’s at the light to mid weight end of travel systems, and it encompasses the maneuverability of its predecessor.
It’s got a large shopping basket, canopy, and raincover and the car seat comes with a hood and head hugger for supporting your newborn’s head. Footmuffs are available in a selection of brights for £24.99 although if you want to ‘customise’ it, you could also buy a totally different footmuff.
Whilst these aren’t the sexiest looking travel systems on the market, if you’re on a tight budget, the City Bug delivers budget style with heavyweight functionality buck.
You can check for stockists at Petite Star which include Precious Little One.
