I’m a big fan of Maclaren’s Objects of Design collection because when you have something as immensely popular as a Maclaren pushchair, you need a few choicy designer collaborations for the style conscious parents that want to distinguish themselves.
Taking the best selling Maclaren Quest, which weighs in at 5.2kg without the hood, shopping basket, or raincover), Lulu Guiness has put her own stamp on it and created the ‘This Is The Life’ offering.
It’s jazzed up with luggage labels of the world’s most famous cities in a contrasting white print giving it a distinctive monochrome style.
Amongst its many features, It’s suitable from 3 months, has 4 recline positions, a removable washable seat, decent sized mesh shopping basket, ergonomic foam handles, and a quick one hand umbrella fold on the high performance aluminium frame. In essence, it has all of the features that you get with a Maclaren Quest but in a fashionista package.
The RRP is £135 and it’s available from the Maclaren store – I couldn’t spot any deals online.
Ideal for: The extra style conscious who want to get out and about quickly with a special Maclaren.
Bang for your style buck: Very good. It’s a matter of paying a bit extra for style differentiation on a mega pushchair brand that’s been adopted by the masses.
Weight range: Light
Don’t forget that you can see other pushchairs and prams we’ve featured in our new feature The Pushchair Track.
