Huge congratulations to Cathy and the team at Anorak for their 9th birthday edition – The Happy Woodlands Issue (£6). As always, the magazine is crammed full of fabulous illustrations and gives the reader the opportunity to explore who lives in the woods, from heroes to villains, from mythical creatures to mushrooms, interview a real life forest ranger from Norway and get a guide to ‘Terrific Trees’. There are games, activities and lots to keep creative little minds engaged. Those of you who follow us on Instagram (just search Bambino Goodies, or click here) would have seen I posted a photo of Lola’s school Autumn art project which was inspired by the Create Your Own Woodland activity….
Lola and her pal (hello, Frankie!) had great fun doing this, and worked pretty independently, too. Huge thumbs up from us here at BG, and happy birthday, guys!
