Flash sale sites are springing up faster than you can say, ‘Two weeks for delivery?’ and, provided you do have the patience to sign up and wait for your order, are a great way to bag a bargain. I’ve rounded up a few of the best for small people.
For design geeks… Fab is undoubtedly the most stylish of the sites and generally has a good selection of things for little people. Discounts are not as large as some sites, but it’s all well-known stuff, such as Lego Storage, Tegu blocks and Crazy Stuff helmets. Pick of the week: Palomar Junior London map, £8.
For interiors… Achica is the grandaddy of the flash sale sites with several children’s sales added a day – you’ll currently find Mima travel systems, Natures Purest baby gifts and Hope & Greenwood sweets. Pick of the week: Ferm Living cushion, £45 (reduced from £69.99).
For fashion… Zulily has great buys for little ones and mamas, plus a smattering of toys, too – think Miller, Kids Organic and Keungzai Maternity. Pick of the week: Pom Pom leather Mary Janes, £10.50 (were £24).
For Gallic style… Cabane Chic. Think French childrenswear and interiors, plus a few other European labels – I’ve picked up Shampoodle goodies from here before. This week’s highlight: Little Boheme wooden blocks, €15,89 (43% discount).
For designer fashion… We’ve mentioned Cocosa Kids before and, although sales are small you can snag some amazing buys. Pick of the week: Bonnie Baby striped cardigan, £18 (was £40).
For le cool… So Small is the flash sale site of cooler-than-thou store Smallable. Bakker Made with Love is just one of the collections up for grabs at the moment. Pick of the week: Marie Puce dress, €26 (was €37).
For toys… Casabu incorporates the former Junior Style Sales, so you’ll discover lots of childrenswear amongst playthings from the likes of Science Museum, Skipper and Blafre. Pick of the week: EverEarth tabletop easel, £23 (was £33).
For brands… Big hitters such as Lamaze, LeapFrog and Fisher-Price live over at Mumsway. Pick of the week: Imajo crochet penguin, £6.99 (was £12.99).
For experiences… Little Bird offers discounts on kids’ activities, festivals and days out. Pick of the week: Gruffalo Live tickets, £11 (was £17.25). Also, check out your local Living Social Families and Groupon for similar deals.
