Sebra have been a name on my radar for quite a while, simply because they’re behind my favourite cot, the Kily which is in sumptuous black and has an ‘Over my dead body’ price of 950 euro… That’s the boyf’s body not mine by the way…
Founded by Danish designer Mia Dela after being inspired by having children of her own, it’s a fantastic range of interior products for children’s spaces. From playful crochet and knitted toys, to beautiful, colourful, contemporary furniture in wonderful shaped forms, I had to exercise serious restraint when I found myself surrounded by all of the pieces at Bubble, the kids tradeshow last week.
Nubie were already much faster off the mark and have already started stocking their wooden table, chair, and bench sets, and their oval and rounded square shelving which come in pink tones, blue tones, plus white.
They’ve also added a couple of their crochet dots rugs to the range including the one pictured above right which features colourful circular bursts pulled together by white crochet. They’re 100% cotton and (thankfully) can be machine washed.
Rugs are £135, shelving sets £132, and furniture sets start from £260 over at Nubie.
