We’re still on a break here at BG but I couldn’t resist having a quick nip around the sales and I’ll be keeping you up to date with the bargain hotspots. No doubt you already know about the usual big name department stores, but the real shopping fun is to be had at a number of super stylish boutiques. Here are the first few….
Plumo – One of those hotspots full of beautiful things to covet, they have up to 50% off clothing, homewares and gifts. The hottest buy is Danish fairtrade company Rice’s boho crochet stool pictured, which is now £79 down from £119 in all 3 colours.

As everything is fantastic there, you’ll be swoonish with choice and indecision. For extra warmth in this winter chill, jump on their padded velour sleep/playsuits (pictured – we have one in purple) which are now reduced from £28 to £15.40.
Peace & Jam – This is always one of the hottest sales around and I suggest you bookmark and stalk them as there are always new waves of reductions. Up to 50% off and brands include Katvig, Mini A Ture, I Love Gorgeous, Kik*Kid, Lee, Quincy, Molo, Pepe Jeans London, Holly’s and Finger In The Nose.
Mash N Gravy – Also another one to stalk, there’s up to 60% off clothing by Mini A Ture, Munster Kids, Popupshop, Junk Food, Urban Elk, and Milibe.
Custard – Another BG favourite, they have up to 50% off brands including Pink Chicken, Shokay, Bensimon, Christina Rohde, Little Davis, Poppy & Ned, Nanoou, and Popupshop.
Monsters & Munchkins – There’s up to a whopping 75% off in this hotbed of cool with brands including Poppy and Ned, Sophie 4 Sophie, EGG by Susan Lazar, Mini A Ture, Lola and James, JB Vintage, and their own label Jake and Maya.
Habitat – It’s still a novelty to say that you can shop online at Habitat. There’s up to 50% off lighting, bedlinen, rugs toys, and furniture and that’s just in the kids section. One to monitor for when they do the next wave of reductions.
Nubie – Up to 50% off clothing by brands like Norlie, Katvig, Sophie Schnoor, Holly’s plus toys and furniture including a NinetoNine changing table reduced from £895 to £595 – Oh to be loaded!
Bohemia Design – Up to 50% off at this stylish Edinburgh boutique which has kids and women’s clothing as well as gifts, homewares, and toys. All of the Smafolk has 25% off.
Little Sunflowers – Up to 50% off including a lot of Molo and Katvig.
