Our no-sew cape tutorial is still our most popular post, especially around this time of year – it’s so versatile for Halloween. Here’s our round up of brilliant no-sew Halloween costumes! Just click the links to see the full instructions.
Spider & Web. This is a seriously cool costume for siblings or friends from Pretty Plain Janes. Felt and yarn are your friends for these ones. The web is one you’ll be able to knock up in minutes.
Dragon Wings & Cap from Bren Did. Another really easy costume. And will work equally as well for bat costumes. You can get caps for a couple of pound online, too.
Ghost costume. Seriously cute and another really easy costume. Bombshell Bling also made this on a baby, and it’s adorable!
Harry Potter. Another ten-minute costume assuming you have a scarf to hand. Use a glue gun or Wundaweb instead of stitching. I have also seen robes made from T-shirts too, just brilliant.
Octopus. Go get yourself four pairs of matching tights and you’re off. This took them less than an hour to make.
Lamb. Love this costume. So cute. You just need a hoody and some cotton wool balls.
Stick man. Love this. So simple. Also can be done reversed, all black costume with glow in the dark tape! Love it.
Princess Leia. I wish I had spotted this one before the Star Wars party we went to at the weekend. Fab and super easy!
