A while back a very enthusiastic Sarah B let us know about Patricia Smith, a fine English children’s ‘clothier’, in response to a post I’d written about Bonpoint, the luxury French children’s clothing that A List celebs have a penchant for.
“For fans of Bonpoint – please check out Patricia Smith. Her clothes are all individually made to order and represent the absolute best in traditional English quality and design -I have two dresses for my daughter that regularly get admiring comments and will become real family heirlooms. Given they are handmade they represent excellent value for money and leave you feeling slightly less lightheaded than the prices in Boinpoint!”
So I have finally breezed on over there to check it out and even though it’s probably a bit too traditional for my tastes, I think she has a fab range of clothing that’s perfect for occasions, especially for boys. Think weddings, christenings, Sunday Best (do people still use that phrase?) etc. In fact, think Liz Hurley’s little boy Damian who she had trussed up to the nines in a load of fancy white clothing for a wedding recently!
I LOVE this Checked Bib Romper (pictured) made from finest English shirting cotton! I want a little baby boy so I can have him looking like a fine mini gentleman! It’s £39
