A close friend of mine Eve, who has three little girls under the age of 6 and the challenge of entertaining them all, absolutely loves Mini Micro Scooters. The company was set up in 2004 by a couple of mums who loved the Mini Micro Scooters and wanted to make them more widely available. They now sell scooter for ages two to twelve.
The Mini Micro Scooter pictured is the product aimed at preschool toddlers and has been designed with the help of medical experts. Not only do they give your bambino the rather cool experience of “surfing the pavement” but they develop balance coordination and motor skills. The t-bar steering column teaches them how to balance their body weight and steer with minimal effort.
Eve says: “I have bought 4 scooters now and finally found the perfect one. Micro Scooter starts off the little ones who are just learning to balance right the way through to big kids. We have a bright pink one which my little girl Erin loves (there is a blue one for boys). It’s really light and they steer through your balance. You need to lean one way to turn it and they are just fab! The Mini Micro’s have 3 wheels so they stand up on their own and the toddler doesn’t need to worry about balance.”
The next level up are Micros although Eve’s not using that as her eldest already had a Barbie one 🙂
