Carrie from my postnatal group and a big Bambino Goodies fan has raved about finger toothbrushes which I intend to order asap as I think they’re a better alternative to traditional children’s toothbrushes and using facecloths.
They help remove plaque easily and gently whilst cleaning your baby’s teeth and gums and give you better access to difficult to reach places. It also means that by using your finger, you can have a sense of touching their teeth and gums as opposed to ploughing in with a big ‘ole brush and having no clue.
You may be able to pick them up at your local pharmacy although I haven’t seen them at Boots. Online, I have found some at Baby Eden (pictured) £2.50 and a blue version at The Natural Baby Store for £3.
