Hats are always tricky. They’re either defiantly pink or blue, or they all too often come emblazoned with cartoon or TV characters. So, it’s refreshing to discover a brand like RattleTat, where the slouchy hats, £12 each, are anything but bland and generic, courtesy of Swedish mum, Charlotte. The hats are a cotton/Lycra mix and come in six bright, funky prints, featuring toadstools, vehicles, stars and some very Gunila Axen-esque clouds on bold backgrounds and four sizes. A brief tour of the site reveals co-ordinating slippers (a very reasonable £5), scratch mitts, £5, hair bows, £2, and bandana bibs, £10, all in the same range of fabulous patterns.
