If like me, it’s dawned on you that it’s 1) super cold and 2) it’s probably gonna be like this for a while, you’ll be searching frantically for snow boots to protect your little one’s tootsies. Fear not, after a bit of searching and begging on the t’internet from more organised friends, here are three of the best:
1. Sorel Snow Commander Winter Boots. Available in a few pleasing colourways, from straight up black, to blue and lime, to purple, these start in small sizes (from UK 2/3). Designed to be super robust against the heavy duty Canadian winters, they use thermal technology, a lightweight sole, and a snug lining along with wind and water resistance to keep feet cosy. £34.95 Little Adventure Shop
2. Thermal Winter Boots. These hardwearing buys feature an EVA moulded base which makes them lightweight while keeping the feet warm with its thermal properties. They’re also fleece lined with toggles for keeping wet and cold out. I quite like these for the skier look. They’re also available in pink although the blue is our favourite. £22.50 Swimbabes
3. Crocs Kids Crocband Gust Boot. I’m loving the retro appeal of these boots that possess a mouthful of a name. Using their trademark robust soles with water resistant uppers and a cosy interior, they’ve also got a drawstring cord around the shaft to ensure that feet stay dry. Also available in navy and pink. £30.99 Little Sunflowers. In sizes UK 5-12
Also:
@judeandollie and @skinflintdesign recommend fleece lining for wellies from JoJo Maman Bebe, £10 each.
