The bambino got one of these as a gift from one of her grandmas and she LOVES it! It was as if she couldn’t believe that she could use her feet to bounce excitedly and the only way to describe her little legs and feet bouncing around was that she looked like she was doing Irish dancing. We were all cracking up laughing!
The Rainforest Jumperoo from Fisher Price is like an activity centre combined with door bouncer…minus the door. Your baby sits in a seat that swivels 360 degrees in the free standing frame so that they can check out the various activities. It has a toy tray with a motion sensor lights, rainforest sounds, and ten animal friends. It’s also got 3 different heights so that you can extend it’s use. It’s perfect for an active child that likes exploring and is suitable from 6-15 months with a maximum weight of 25lbs (11kg).
Are there any downsides? It’s advertised as folding compactly but either they don’t know what the true meaning of compact is or they need to improve on that section of the instructions. When the Rainforest Jumperoo is fully open, it’s actually quite big (95 X 83 X 93 cm) which means you 1) need the space to put it out and 2) you need a reasonable space to store it. This is not the type of toy that you buy when you’re short on space! It’s also not the easiest task to push in the button and get the frame legs to release.
That aside though, if you’re looking for something to occupy, entertain, and engage your baby, look no further. It is a fantastic toy and well worth the £79.99…that her grandma spent!
It’s not the easiest toy to get a hold of online, much like anything that’s very popular with babies and parents, but we got ours from Argos who whilst they’re out of stock online, do have it in stock and you can reserve and pick it up from your local store.
It would get 5 out of 5 if it wasn’t for the folding down being fiddly and it not folding down that compactly, so instead it gets a very good 4 out of 5 from me.
