Finding contemporary gifts to commemorate the birth or christening of a special baby is not always easy. The days of Peter Rabbit plates went out with the 80s but few alternatives came to the market. Joanne Holbrook created unique prints for the nursery walls of her sons but only realised there was demand for them when friends begged her to create versions for their children.
Now she uses digital technology and high quality archival art paper to create these special prints. You provide your baby’s name, birth date, weight, time of birth, nicknames and any other special details along with the colour palette of your choice and Joanne uses this to create their print. I like the use of old fashioned type faces and the different layout. They are 29 x 29 cm and come in a 50 x 50 cm mount. You can choose between boys or girls styles for £120 or even a custom canvas for £150.
