We’ve been admiring Hatley’s strong pyjama, welly and raincoat game for years now, and this season boasts some real corkers, plus fabulous prints on dresses and babywear. My picks are the Splash Jacket, £39, bug pyjamas (how amazing is that print?), £24, Astronaut umbrella, £14, and Whales Flutter Dress, £28.
Alfie was lucky enough to be sent a Royal Wild Dinos Splash Jacket (£39) to try and it has been brilliant. It’s light enough for him to keep it on (he’s one of those throw off your clothes and run around in sub-zero temperatures while still feeling toasty), but the towelling lining stops the chill setting in on those surprising spring days. I love that it’s completely waterproof (as evidenced at a very rainy trip to Hampton Court last week), machine washable and PVC free, Alfie loves that the lining is orange dinosaur print!
