One of our annual Easter traditions is to do an Easter Egg trail at a National Trust property. They are always great fun (although last year’s where we had to look for 100 eggs was challenging for the children – my brother-in-law and I ended up finishing it) and, as a bonus, run in conjunction with Cadbury, so little ones get a chocolate treat at the end. We’re spoiled for choice with beautiful venues here in Sussex – we’ll probably go for Nyman’s, Standen or Sheffield Park. Check out the website for your local NT property – trails cost from £1.50 per child (on top of the entry price if you’re not a member).
