A couple of Christmases ago, Kat rounded up a host of lovely dolls in a variety of price brackets which included Marks and Spencer’s bargain buy, these simple, cute rag dolls that are ideal as a first doll. They sold out back then but they are back in stock. They have friendly, open faces and pretty outfits and are a steal at £6 each – great for the birthday presents bag.
You can also get these in a medium size (there’s also a traditionally styled doll) for £9.50 each plus they also have giant rag dolls (bigger than your toddler) in store as well. For more really well priced buys in a different ethnicities, try Culture Club dolls which are £10.76 each and for a $25, Sophie and Lili dolls are contemporary, personalised delights.
