I’ve been a big fan of Mango Baby since the early days when I started this blog and have just had the pleasure of getting up close and personal with a few of the goodies from the store.
I think I originally found Mango Baby via Marie Claire where they were singing its praises for it being a diving little vintage and retro haven choc full of nostalgic delights. They sell blankets, burping cloths, whimsical accessories, brooches, art, invitations, cute soaps that look straight out of a 70s bathroom, and a hotch potch selection of toys. It is perfect for accessorising your baby’s nursery (and them) when you want to avoid Cutesville and stay more in Coolsvlle or Nostalgiaville.
I’ve been eyeing the blanket pictured above for a while which I have now discovered is reduced from £30 down to £20 at the moment. This, as well as their burp cloths, £12, are hand made by a company called Spongy Feet, so each one is one of a kind. I love the contrast of the prints with the fleecy, fluffy borders, and both the burp cloths and blankets also have this fleecy material on the reverse for protection with the burping, and warmth with the blanket.
Brenda featured the Jamie Rae hats a few months back and I checked out the hot pink one and they certainly are a vibrant and unusual alternative to your typical hat, especially for newborns. The hats are 100% cotton featuring luscious blooms for girls and embroidery for the boys and are £12 each in two sizes, 0-18 months and 2-4 years.
So I’m even more of a fan now of Mango Baby, which is perfect for unusual gifts and lovely treats for yourself and your little one. The bambino and I are now off to have a bath with our gift (ta very much) of organic baby soap with a vintage print on it.
