If you’ve had to deal with accidents during the night, it may have passed your mind to investigate getting some ‘special’ sheets but if like me, your vanity kicked in at the thought of buying something rather pedestrian, you’ll love the bedding from Belgian company Louis Le Sec.
Owner Sophie Remy was galvanised by dealing with the tough bedwetting years to create a range of 100% jersey cotton bedding that’s breathable, waterproof and soundless with the help of a polyurethane (PU) membrane barrier on the underside. This means that aside from helping with dealing with accidents and not having to remove pretty much everything including the mattress cover, your child is also protected from dust mites.
The colours – Grey Wood, Maui Blue and Morning Blue – are lovely and combine well with plenty of colours and prints, plus the jersey feels good too. Aside from fitted sheets, there are pillows and duvet covers (gorgeous prints) plus they have single (1 person bed), junior bed, and cot (bed with bars) sizes too.
Fitted sheets are €49.50 for singles (€33-36.50 for other sizes) and are available from Louis Le Sec.
