Oh, my heart be still! Little Citizens Boutique is a carefully curated collection of goodies for children.
Why we love: A complete delight and hot online shopping destination for chic childhood pleasures, LCB stocks toys, gifts and clothing from some of our favourite brands and labels – many items have a retro vibe. A great place to find a reasonably priced gift.
Three cool buys: If you’re a regular reader, you may possibly already be aware of our love for owls (hard to miss), so it’ll be no surprise I’ve chosen this Djeco owl money box, £19.50 – love, love, love the vibrant colours. I bought a chocolate brown Sweetheart doll, £19, for Alfie to give Kitty for Christmas and now they come in a whole range of colours. They are the cutest thing ever and she loves hers, so we may have to get another for her birthday. Talking of Kitty, I’ve just managed to persuade her to wear clips in her (completely wild and uncontrollably curly) hair, so I’ll be snapping up these Hello Shiso rainbow pom pom clips, £16 for six, as they’re the nicest I’ve seen.
Brands: Lots of familiar faces in the toy section – think Janod, Vilac, Moulin Roty, B. Toys, Lapin & Me and Crocodile Creek – plus the amazing Lundby dollhouses and Pippi Longstocking range. Clothing wise, you’ll find Dis Une Couleur, Peas & Queues, Siaomini, plus Trumpette socks and Aden & Anais muslins. Plus, smaller indie designers, such as House of Clouds, Tad Lapin and Petra Boase.
