Natalie writes…The bambino and I were very lucky to receive a lovely gift of the limited edition Carton Chic Ecological House, from Little Fashion Gallery who also collaborated with them on it.
Blending cool eco ethics and contemporary chic with black and off white graphics using the LFG logo, it’s a modular home made from recycled cardboard that requires no glue or scissors.
Unfortunately I had terrible pregnancy mush brain when we first received it so the boyf had to put it together as I hadn’t realised that the pieces are made in such a way to only fit in certain slots, to keep the house up and sturdy. I watched in bemusement as it turned out to be rather simple…
The bambino loves it although she does seem to think it’s like a big 3D jigsaw as she keeps trying to take it apart… It’s so lovely, I haven’t had the heart to let the bambino scrawl on it but she will be pushing her Brio cars (she doesn’t know she’s getting them yet) through it. In the meantime it’s her little wooden people from her dolls house and trying to fit her too large Jellycat bunny in there…
£3 is donated from every sale to the chairty Les Toiles Enchantees which is a charity that brings cinema films to children in hospital.
