Lego Women of NASA set

Every so often there’s a Lego set that we absolutely HAVE to have (any of the, sadly retired, Harry Potter sets, obviously, plus the ace Research Institute). Today, we’re desperate to get our hands on the Women of NASA, £19.99 – a cool set featuring four female scientist integral in furthering the space program. The Minifigures represent astronomer Nancy Grace Roman (aka Mother of Hubble), computer scientist Margaret Hamilton, who developed the software for the Apollo moon landings, astronaut Sally Ride (the first American woman in space) and astronaut Mae Jemison (the first African-American woman in space). There are also some brilliant builds, including the Hubble Telescope and Space Shuttle Challenger, and an information booklet about the pioneering women’s work.
