Kitty has super-sensitive skin, so I’m always on the look out for nasties-free bath products for her. We’ve long been fans of Earth Friendly Baby, but she’s recently started commenting that she’s not a baby (*sob*, although she is five, so she does have a point), so we’ve been looking around for alternatives. So, a delivery of Kit & Kin goodies was very timely. The range, created by product developer Christopher Money in conjunction with Emma Bunton, is certified natural by the COSMOS association, is hypoallergenic, and approved by dermatologists, so definitely has no nasties. It’s also guaranteed cruelty free (the company is a member of PETA) and every purchase means a donation to help fund the purchase of rainforest through the World Land Trust.
We’ve been trying the bubble bath and body wash and so far, so good – they smell divine (think hints of lavender, mango and strawberry) and have left both children’s skin clean and soft. I confess I also ‘tested’ the body wash in the shower and smelled lovely all day. Fab-looking packaging as well (although obviously we’d prefer no plastic), and no mention of the word baby. Bottles are £7.99 each, or you can opt for the bathtime bundle for £13.49. Check out the Stretch Mark Oil and Breast Balm as well – great gifts for a new mama.
PS: Kit & Kin also make the cutest biodegradable nappies (they take three to six years to break down, whereas conventional nappies take up to 500 years!) with animal faces on, £9.99 per pack. You can subscribe to save 25% on regular deliveries and team with the chemical-free, biodegradable wipes, £2.70 per pack.
