Jellio

I’m lusting again. It’s a bit like cool NYC designers Jellio, climbed inside my mind and responded to my desire for ridiculous cool. If you’re a nostalgic type or just love the very unusual, you’ll love Jellio. They combine “childhood fun with interior design” and I think they’re great for getting a standout item for the wow factor.

Take their Gummilights for instance. Aside from planting thoughts of Haribo in my mind and causing me to sing the Gummy Bears theme tune from my childhood, I love these kooky, yet cute delights. They’re made from soft rubber and are battery powered and are almost 18cm in height. The LED light…would you believe it…is in the bears bum! They aren’t nightlights though and as they only last for 20 hours on 3 batteries, I highly recommend investing in some rechargeable batteries. They’re $125 each and about $25 to deliver to the UK.

I have my eye on pretty much everything in the store although to buy everything would be overkill (unless you have a large house) and pretty expensive (unless you’re loaded). You have to check out their cupcake tables and seats, and they have a giant, handmade slider. I’d say that one would probably be more for me than the bambino…It will set you back a cool $750 and you can get the high res image of your choice on it so you could get a proper image puzzle on it.

Yep, I am definitely a fan of Jellio and if you have the budget to splash on a key piece or two for your nursery or playspace, I would definitely hotfoot it to Jellio.
