Last week we featured some book shelves made with Ikea spice racks and here is another inspiring use of them where they’ve been decorated with Japanese washi tape (try Papermash and Present&Correct – be careful, they’re dangerous shops of temptation) on the borders. What we’re also loving is the hanging fabric clouds which look like they’re hung by a wire and stationary clip and the fabric circles hanging with pegs.
Gail stiffened her fabric with stiffening spray although recommends using fusible webbing instead which is widely available in fabric shops, John Lewis etc. Great way to use up fabric scraps as well. Put down a floor cushion or beanbag and they have their own reading nook. If you’re curious about the gorgeous soft monkey, he’s by BlaBla Kids.
