If like me you tend to do a last minute jobbie on advent calendar’s, here is our advent calendar from last year (ours is a Maileg one that I brought a few years back from Little Baby Company) and last year I filled it with finger puppets from Ikea (£4 each for sets of 10) and a few chocolate coins – I ate the remainder of the bag as it would have been a shame for them to go to waste.
To fill the entire advent calendar, it cost £9 and to be fair, you could go with one set of puppets plus the coins or little notes with a message or joke on them (although this would go over the head of Nia my 3-year old who would be wondering where the loot was). This year I’m using wooden figures from Tiger Stores including a nativity scene set which I will of course show on here as soon as it’s ready.
